I have recently defended my thesis and graduated from Trinity College Dublin (as of April 2013). I have since become a beggar of moderate success, having been awarded an incubation grant to pursue a start-up. The purpose of which is to create software that utilizes machine learning and creativity to automate many of the repetitious, tedious and time-consuming aspects of digital media creation - much the way spreadsheets automate the book-keeping process.

I was a member of the GV2 (Graphics, Vision and Visualization) group where my research focus was texture synthesis and example based automatic content creation of images, audio, 3D shapes, and animation. Iíve also been known to dabble in real time rendering and GPU techniques. I was advised by Rozenn Dahyot of Trinity College Dublin and Eitan Grinspun of Columbia University.

Before coming to Trinity I did my masters in Computer Science at Columbia University where I was a member of the Columbia graphics group co-advised by Profs. Eitan Grinspun and Ravi Ramamoorthi. I did my undergrad at the University of Central Florida where I graduated with a bachelors in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. I was also a member of the UCF graphics group for three years.
